Belgica information (en): n:Prominent finger-like pinnacle, projecting from the western slopes of Mount Bulcke in the S part of Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago. First seen and photographed by the BelgAE, 1897-99. Photographed by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. in 1956-57, and mapped from these photos in 1959. Belgica information (en): Bold summit, 1,030 m, at the end of an ice-covered spur which extends south from the Solvay Mountains on a peninsula in the southern extremity of Brabant Island, in the Palmer Archipelago. Discovered by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition under Adrien de Gerlache, 1897-1899, and named by him for August Bulcke, a ship-owner of the Port of Antwerp and supporter of the expedition. |

De Belgische Antarctica expeditie (1897- 1899) onder leiding van Adrien de Gerlache ontdekte de berg en noemde hem naar August Bulcke, een reder in de haven van Antwerpen en een voorstander van de expeditie. |
