Notes Belgica information (en): Island 4.5 mi long and 2 mi wide, surmounted by a snow-covered pyramidal peak, 515 m, lying between the S portions of Anvers Island and Wiencke Island in the Palmer Archipelago. First seen by the BelgAE, 1897-99, under Gerlache. Resighted and charted by the FrAE, 1903-05, under Charcot, who named it for Paul Doumer, President of the Chamber of Deputies and later President of France.http://geonames.usgs.gov
