Additional information (en): This feature has a nearly round shape. From 2013-2018, the Chinese Academy of Sciences conducted biological surveys of seamounts in the western Pacific Ocean, where Xinggu sponges were discovered at the depth of 800 m. Several undersea features in this area have been be named after groups of Pacific Ocean species. Minimum depth (m): 3625. Maximum depth (m): 5431. Total relief (m): 1806. Dimension/size: 15 km x 12 km. |
