History: Named after Prof. Peter Christian Hackspacher (1951-2021), a Brazilian geologist who made valuable contributions in the fields of geochemistry, geotectonic and geochronology. He was a great supporter of regional journals and organizer of geoscientific events. He contributed to the formation of many generations of Brazilian geologists.
