Notes Additional information (en): This feature has an irregular shape and comprises two main peaks. The single position is that of the shallowest point. All undersea features around the Kyushu-Palau Ridge are named after stars and planets. Minimum depth (m): 2396. Maximum depth (m): 4816. Total relief (m): 2420. Dimension/size: 20 km × 30 km.

GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Discoverer: Japanese survey vessel "Shoyo". Year of discovery: 2007. History: Named from its geographical location, to the north of Tochinohoshi Seamounts. "Tochinohoshi" is one of the Japanese dialect names that means the Southern Cross. "Kita" stands for North in Japanese.
